1) A small bowl of warm water.
2) About 2 tablespoons of clear household ammonia (non-sudsy).
3) A small bowl of warm clean water for rinsing.
4) A small soft toothbrush or the cleaning brush that came with your

5) Some paper towels.
Now you are all set as far as
supplies go. Here are the steps for cleaning:
1) Mix the warm water and ammonia together in one of the small bowls.
2) Soak your jewelry in the solution for
about 10 minutes (only 2 minutes for Mystique Emeralds).
3) Use the soft brush to gently clean all
surfaces of the stone(s). Make sure you get underneath the stones
especially thoroughly as this is where most of the build up from lotions
or soaps will occur. Earring stones are prone to hairspray buildup on
their top surfaces as well. Make sure you clean them frequently and
thoroughly.
4) Soak the jewelry in the ammonia and
water solution for another few minutes if there is any buildup from
lotions or soaps that has not come off yet.
5) Rinse gently in the clean water and dry
your jewelry with paper towels or just place on a towel to dry.
